Why oh why must Wisconsin be important this year, when I am no longer a resident?  The race was over by the time it got to Wisconsin in 04.  Kerry spoke at Madison, but in a tiny little room in the Red Gym.  I stood outside and managed to peek in and catch a glimpse of the top of his head.  This year, Obama spoke at the Kohl Center.

On the other hand, Madison has been buried in snow this year.  My grandma tells me that last weekend, the buses stopped running and all the stores were closed.

I guess I'll just have to sooth myself with thoughts of the county convention coming up March 8.

WI sort of mattered in 2004. It was Dean's last stand. It's more or less how Edwards ended up VP.

But yes, I understand.

I'm honestly amazed Ohio is still going to be relevant come March 4. It's crazy.

Really? I guess I was on the Clarke wagon and he bowed out before I got a chance to vote for him. I ended up supporting Kucinich.

Ohio is crazy influencial this year. I lived there too, but was waaay to young to vote at the time, ha.
